Austin Lakes Hospital Announces Addition of Partial Hospitalization Program
At Austin Lakes Hospital, we realize every patient is different when it comes to the type of care he/she requires. While some may be most successful in the 24-hour structured setting our Inpatient Program provides, others may thrive in a less-controlled, outpatient environment.
In an effort to advance our continuum of care at Austin Lakes Hospital and meet the varying needs of our patients, we recently announced the addition of our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This outpatient program offers patients the same structured environment as our Inpatient Program during the day but allows patients to return to the comfort of their own homes in the evening.
PHP offers many of the same qualities that inpatient treatment does, including treatment planning by an experienced psychiatrist; in-depth case management; individual, group and family therapy; recreational therapy; medication management; and comprehensive discharge planning. PHP programming takes place from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., and clients are provided lunch and transportation.
